Tacincala, Windsor, CO (Weld County)
Tacincala has been approved as one of the first and largest
residential subdivisions to be developed within the Town of
Windsor's new "Growth Management Area."
At full build-out, Tacincala will provide a multitude of housing
products, from attainable workforce dwelling units to lakefront
semi-custom homes. Several hundred new homes are also being planned
for an age-targeted active lifestyle adult community, with all homes
featuring single level living, 24-hour concierge, and access to
on-site assisted care facilities.
A total of 1,955 single family dwelling units are approved for this
750 acre amenitized community which also features a 75 acre regional
park, 11 acre elementary school site, and several miles of improved
pedestrian trails. The community's western boundary is adjacent to
Nelson Reservoir, which will be improved as a recreational amenity
for use by Tacincala's residents.
William Guman & Associates, Ltd. is the lead land planner and
landscape architect for Tacincala. Plans for the new community were
unanimously approved by the Windsor City Council after Guman
successfully guided the project through a two year entitlement
process.
